Students Preschool - Grade 6: All students are enrolled in the same grade as they are enrolled in public/private school. Preschool students must be 4 years old as of August 31 of that school year to attend classes. All education classes are held in the Parish Center.

Sunday School Classes for students preschool - grade 6 are held from 9:45 - 10:40 am. RALLY SUNDAY - September 13. Come register your children in the Parish Center and start classes.

Wednesday School Classes for students preschool - grade 6 are held from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.
RALLY WEDNESDAY - September 16. Come register your children in the Parish Center and start classes.

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM - Sunday, December 13, at 3:00 pm.

TAKING THE FAITH HOME - This is a new resource, from the Youth and Family Institute,  that we are using to help families to "pass on the faith" to their children.  There are daily readings, different prayers for throught the day, family discussion topics, and much more.  There is a different one for each week that follows along with the weekly lectionary:

Vacation Bible School: VBS is usually held in June for students preschool - grade 6. It is open to members and nonmenbers of First Lutheran Church.

The 2009 VBS was held June 15 - 19. This year's theme was Gospel Light's Kingdom of the Son "The Lord's Prayer Safari." Preschool - grade1 were led by First Lutheran staff and will meet 9:00 am - 12:00 noon, Monday - Friday. Grades 2 - 6 were led by Metigoshe Ministries Day Camp staff and will meet Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. On Friday they met 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.

Friday Night Live -- Friday Night Live is a 4th - 6th grade retreat that takes place at Camp Metigoshe. Come for a great, late night of singing, games, worship, and yummy food! Friday Night Live is held twice a year, once in the spring, and once in the fall. Next session for 4th - 6th grade will be held April 23-24.

CAMP METIGOSHE
It's that time of year again! Every summer there are many wonderful camp experiences available at Camp Metigoshe.
For those who went to camp last summer, you should have been mailed a brochure for this summer's camp opportunities. If you have not received the Metigoshe Ministries Summer Camp brochure, you can pick one up by the church office or go to their website online at metigosheministries.com.
