From One of Our Seminarians ---

Dear First Lutheran Church:

Greetings from Bratislava, Slovakia!  My fiancée Anna and I have been living and working here since last August as part of ELCA Global Mission.  Anna has been serving as the intern pastor of Bratislava International Church and I've been teaching religion at the Lutheran high school here, which was re-opened in 1992 after the fall of communism. In addition to that, I've been continuing my studies at Luther Seminary with online courses. We have also found time to enjoy Slovakia with its many castles as well as neighboring Vienna.

Anna and I just found out that we will be moving to Southwest Minnesota this September for my internship as I continue my ministry training.  I'll be serving at Prairie Star Ministries, a multiple congregation parish north of Worthington, MN. We are looking forward to this new opportunity and the chance to be closer to home.
