FLC FOOD STAND AT THE NORTH DAKOTA STATE FAIR - ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL at FLC - June 28 - July 2 Register on Monday - June 28 at 9:00 am - Parish Center Preschool - Grade 1: 9:00 am - 12:00 noon Monday - Friday Grades 2 - 6: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Thursday / 9:00 am - 12:00 noon Friday* * Parents - please be here to pick up your children at 12:00 noon, as the counselors leave at noon to go back to Metigoshe. Thursday Family Picnic & Program - 6:00 pm, at the Parish Center - July 1 Thursday Night Metigoshe Lock-In (grades 4 - 6) Parish Center - July 1 - Please have students bring a Bible, PJ's, sleeping bag & pillow, toiletries, and clothes for Friday. ELCA SOCIAL STATEMENT - The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, of which we are a member congregation, at its biennial assembly in Minneapolis in late August, took several actions related to human sexuality. The first was the adoption of a social statement entitled "Human Sexuality: Gift and Trust"
