Prayers shawls that have been knit or crocheted by members of our congregation are given away to those in need of feeling the loving, comforting, caring arms of God wrapped around them. This could be a time of need such as an illness or the death of a loved one. This could be a time of great joy such as the birth of a child or an eagerly anticipated milestone such as beginning a new job.

The Prayer Shawl ministry group meets about once a month to knit (or crochet) and pray together. This group would love to have others join us and is happy to teach and encourage those who are new at knitting or crocheting!

We are eager to give these prayer shawls away so people have a tangible reminder of God's constant care for them and of being held in prayer by their brothers and sisters in Christ.
