Regular Worship Schedule

The Saturday and 8:45 Sunday services are based on the upbeat, joyful liturgical music of Lutheran Book of Worship - Setting 2. The 10:45 Sunday service is based on With One Voice - Setting 5 liturgy. Each of the three weekly services has its own personality and subtle styles while holding to a common liturgical flow and message. Holy Communion occurs in all worship services and First Lutheran Church has a practice of offering the bread and wine of communion to all the baptized.

Saturday 5:30 pm

The Saturday evening service occurs in the smaller chapel at First Lutheran Church (it is attached to the main sanctuary). The beauty of the Lutheran tradition is enjoyed in this more intimate worship setting with music led by the chapel's smaller pipe organ.

Sunday 8:45 & 10:45 am

Both of the Sunday services occur in the main sanctuary at First Lutheran Church. Music of the 8:45 service generally features the congregation's pipe organ and choir. Music of the 10:45 service has more variety from week to week, often led by one of the congregation's musical ensembles.

Nursery care is available at all Sunday services during the academic year.

Summer Worship Schedule

Saturday 5:30 pm

Sunday 9:30 am

The Sunday service occurs in the main sanctuary at First Lutheran Church. The music generally features the congregation's pipe organ; however, occasionally a service is led by one of the congregation's musical ensembles.
